Our Purpose
The Purchasing Division is responsible either directly or through delegation of authority, for the purchase or contracting of all materials, supplies, equipment and contractual services needed by any and all departments of the City. The Purchasing Manager reports to the Deputy City Manager. The duty of the Purchasing Manager is to assure that the Division's responsibilities are carried out in compliance with policies and State Statutes.


Purchasing is currently staffed with five personnel:

Vendor Registration

If you would like to visit the purchasing division, please call or come to the office.  We encourage appointments when possible.  We will make every effort to visit with every caller. 

Upon your arrival, check in the with receptionist.  She will make sure your wait is no longer than absolutely necessary.  The purchasing manager or a staff member will meet with you dependent upon their schedule.

While we are closed on weekends and holidays, you can always leave a message on our voice mail or you can contact the purchasing manager via email.
