We are always seeking ways to better serve you – our Valued Customer – in a more efficient manner. With that focus, the City of Midland is pleased to announce a change coming with our Billing System. We will be moving to new software and adding a new Customer Portal starting December 9, 2019.
Some of the changes you can look forward to:
An improved payment website. The new website contains features to help you better manage your own account.
Screens are user-friendly.
More online payment options such as pay-by-email.
Automated telephone payment processing option.
You can go paperless and get a $1.00 discount per month.
Other important information:
You will receive a new account number. It will include a series of numbers followed by a dash then two numbers (e.g. 11111-01).
All initial bills from the new billing system will go out in paper format. From there, you will need to sign up for our new Customer Portal where you will have the option for paperless billing. All customers are encouraged to sign up for paperless billing – regardless of how you previously obtained your bill.
Any prior auto pay/login details will not be transferred. We do need you to set up your new account on the new Customer Portal – details on how to do so will follow.
Like most transitions in online software, there will be a period of change for user accounts. Customer Service will provide online account support as well as telephone support.
