Ordinance for Joint Meeting

City of Midland

The City Council of the City of Midland will hold public hearing at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2019, in the Council Chamber, City Hall, 300 N. Loraine, to consider an Ordinance calling a joint public hearing by the City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission to consider the adoption of an ordinance amending Title XI, “Planning and Development”, Chapter 1, “Zoning” of the City Code of Midland, Texas so as to change the heading of said Chapter 1 to “Zoning Ordinance and to revise and amend the Rules, Regulations and Zoning Map contained in or associated therewith and similar provisions related to Land Use and Development; prescribing the type of notice to be given of the time and place of the joint public hearing.


The meeting facility is accessible to disabled persons.  A wheelchair entry ramp is located at the southeast entrance to City Hall.  A parking space designated for use by disabled persons is available near the southeast entrance doors.  Any disabled person needing special accommodations or hearing impaired persons wishing to have an interpreter should request services through the Administrative Services Department at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled meeting by contacting the Compliance Coordinator for the City of Midland, at (432) 685-7251.  If communication via TDD is required, please call 1-800-735-2989.
