Central Fire Station

The Central Fire Station was built in 1981 and houses the administrative offices for MFD as well as several pieces of emergency apparatus. The Midland Downtown Lions Club fire museum can be found on the east end of the Central Fire Station building. The museum, featuring old Engine #1 and old Engine #2, is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Admission is free.

All fire stations are equipped to provide visitors with a free of charge blood pressure check. Visits for this and other purposes are invited between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. seven days per week.

Tours of any fire station are welcomed. Large groups should make an appointment by calling (432) 685-7332.
