City Manager Update

On October 1, 2008, Courtney Sharp began work as the city’s chief executive, leading a workforce of over 900 employees and an annual budget of $167 million. Courtney earned his Bachelor of Political Science with an emphasis on Public Administration from West Texas A & M University. He is also a graduate of the Texas Tech Certified Public Manager’s Program.

The City Manager Update is a biweekly summary of updates related to City projects, responses to City Council inquiries, and events and activities of interest to the community. The report is posted every other Friday, except when City offices are closed for a holiday.
