Midland’s Merry Lighted Christmas Parade to take place Saturday

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- Midland’s Merry Lighted Christmas Parade is scheduled to take place Saturday (Dec. 14, 2024) along “A” Street in Central Midland.
The parade is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Floats will travel down “A” Street from Ventura Avenue to Illinois Avenue. The parade will impact traffic as most intersections along the parade route will close at 3:30 p.m. The Scharbauer Drive and Wadley Avenue intersections will close at 6 p.m.
The parade grand marshals are Becky McCraney and Kathy Harrison, former owners of Ms. Cayce’s Christmas Store, and activities at Wadley-Barron Park (also known as the Duck Pond) will include pictures will Santa.
The City of Midland is pleased to partner with First Alert 7, which will broadcast the parade on its sister station KWWT My30 and online at firstalert7.com.
