LABOR FORCE IN MIDLAND MSA INCREASES; UNEMPLOYMENT RATE STILL LOWEST IN TEXAS

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- The Civilian Labor Force inside the Midland metropolitan statistical area increased by 2.4% in February (compared to February 2024), according to the Texas Workforce Commission.
The Workforce Commission also reported the Midland MSA again posted the lowest unemployment rate in the state (3.2%). That rate was higher than the 3.1% in February 2024. Rounding out the three lowest jobless rates were Amarillo (3.2%) and San Angelo (3.4%).
