AIRLINE PASSENGERS UP HALFWAY THROUGH FISCAL YEAR

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- The number of people using airlines at Midland International Air & Space Port is off to a record pace halfway through the fiscal year.
Airport officials reported the number of passengers flying Southwest, American Eagle, United or Delta out of Midland was up 4.23% in March (compared to March 2024) and is up 4.88% compared to the first six months of FY 2024.
Southwest Airlines again carried the largest share of passengers, with around 45.8% of the total from October 2024 through March 2025. United was second at 26.2%.
Also up so far this fiscal year are fuel sales (10.08%) and net parking revenue (10.28%).
