BUSINESS FACILITIES RANKS MIDLAND AMONG LEADERS FOR BUSINESS CLIMATE

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- Midland has one of the best business climates of any smaller metropolitan area in the nation, according to Business Facilities' 21st-annual Metro Rankings Report.
“The Best Business Climate ranking represents a broad look at the business environment for companies in many industries, taking into account economic growth, regulations, incentives, diversity of industry, available workforce, and infrastructure,” Business Facilities stated. The 21st-annual Rankings Report will be published in the July/August 2025 issue of Business Facilities.
Other small metropolitan areas in the top 5 for best business climate were Gainesville, Georga; St. George, Utah; Idaho Falls, Idaho; and Bend/Redmond, Oregon. Rounding out the top 10 were Jefferson City, Missouri; Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; Jacksonville, North Carolina; Missoula, Montana; and Auburn/Opelika, Alabama, respectively.
Business Facilities, according to its website, is a leading full-service media brand specializing in the site selection marketplace.
Last year, Midland was one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the nation, according to Business Facilities.
