Animal Services: Report card shows nearly 900 animals adopted this year

NUMBER OF ANIMALS ADOPTED FROM MIDLAND ANIMAL SERVICES APPROACHES 900

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- Midland Animal Services reported 891 animals have been adopted year to date in its latest report.

Animal Services reported 116 animal adoptions during the month in the August Report Card. MAS also reported an intake of 461 animals – including 375 strays. The outcomes included the adoptions, 48 returned to owner and 112 transferred.

Lastly, Animal Services showed a live-release rate of 62% in August. The live-release rate for the year is currently at 75%.
