APPLICATION PERIOD FOR THE MIDLAND DOWNTOWN PARK CONSERVANCY BOARD BEGINS

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- Open enrollment for the City of Midland Downtown Park Conservancy Board will begin on December 2, 2025, and run through December 19, 2025. The City Council will begin making appointments in February.

A complete list of Boards, Commissions, and Committees — along with meeting schedules and the application form — can be found and downloaded from the City of Midland’s website at www.midlandtexas.gov (select City Leadership, then click on Boards and Commissions).

The deadline for submitting applications is 5 p.m. on December 19, 2025.

Midland Downtown Park Conservancy Board Eligibility Requirements: Resolution of appointment is made each February, and each appointment must be ratified by the Conservancy Board in March at its annual meeting. The board of directors will include a total of seven members -- three appointed by the city, one by the Scharbauer Foundation, one by ConocoPhillips, one by the Downtown Midland Management District and one at-large.
