There will be a FULL CLOSURE of Illinois Avenue between Andrews Highway and North L Street starting Friday, April 8th, at 5:30 AM, and lasting until late night on Saturday, April 9th. The closure is necessary to allow for removal and replacement of the pavement.
The small parking lot adjacent to the south entrance to Midland Memorial Hospital will also be closed during this time, but access to all other parking areas and entrances will be maintained from other surrounding streets. Thru traffic on Illinois Avenue will be detoured to parallel streets, and delays should be expected in the area.
