The City of Midland Engineering Services Department has the following projects under construction:
Lamesa Road Pedestrian Access Improvement
The Contractor working for the City of Midland is installing sidewalks along Lamesa Road at the Wadley Avenue intersection. Lane closures will be used on southbound Lamesa Road at Spruce Avenue, Pine Avenue, Pecan Avenue and Oak Avenue. All properties adjacent to the work zone will remain accessible.
Garfield Street Pavement Repair
The City of Midland’s Transportation Division will complete the Garfield Street Pavement Repair Project at the Garfield Street/Loop 250 intersection on Friday, August 30. On Friday morning, all work zone traffic control devices will be removed from the roadway.
