[ARCHIVED] Mill/Inlay Project

On Monday, September 23 the contractor for the Mill/Inlay Project will begin removing the existing pavement at Northcrest Drive between Loop 250 and Briarwood Ave. also Amistad Drive between Loop 250 and Briarwood Ave. During this project, roads will be closed to through traffic, but all properties will remain accessible for local traffic, emergency services and mail delivery will continue available for the residents of the area.

Curbside parking is prohibited during construction.

The City of Midland would like to ask the residents of the area to please remove vehicles from the roadway before the date listed above. Vehicles that are not relocated after proper notification will be towed to the next adjacent street. Towing will be used as a final option after all attempts to contact the owner have failed. Vehicles will not be impounded, and residents will not be charged for the towing service.

Please reduce/eliminate sprinkler system overspray and/or nuisance water.

Overspray and/or nuisance water from sprinkler systems or any other source will delay the Mill and Inlay Project. We realize that repaving streets in developed areas is an inconvenience to those who use the roadways. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we appreciate everyone’s patience. Please call the Transportation Division with any questions at 432-685-7293.
