CITY: AIRPORTS RECEIVES FOR $2.8M FOR IMPROVEMENTS

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- The City of Midland will receive $2.8 million in federal grant money to help modernize the terminal at Midland International Air & Space Port.
The grants are part of the bipartisan Infrastructure Law to Improve 114 Airports Across the U.S., according to an announcement from the Biden-Harris administration.
A project description from the announcement states the award will fund approximately 70% of the design for the replacement and modernization of the terminal building’s HVAC and related systems, restrooms and passenger screening area.
