PIPE BURST TO DELAY WASHINGTON AQUATIC CENTER OPENING

The City of Midland Parks and Recreation will delay the opening of the Washington Family Aquatic Center, due to a 6-inch pipe bursting and flooding the pump room on Saturday, May 25th. Our dedicated staff managed to catch it in time to prevent significant damage. Repairs will be made as quickly as possible, but due to the holiday weekend a timeline is not available yet. We will provide updates as soon as they are available.
We want to remind the public that Doug Russell and the Dennis the Menace splash pad are still opening today!
