ODESSA MAN DIES AFTER COLLISION ON FM 1788

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- An Odessa man died after a collision Wednesday (June 27, 2024) on Farm-to-Market Road 1788.
Midland Police responded at 5:35 p.m. after a report of a major accident in the 1500 block of FM 1788. An investigation revealed that a man from the city of Donna, Texas, was traveling northbound in a pickup on 1788 when he veered into the southbound lane and caused a collision with a different pickup (vehicle No. 2) in a southbound lane. When medical personnel arrived, the driver of the second vehicle (Jeramy Jones, a 48-year-old from Odessa) was pronounced deceased.
The investigation into the collision continues.
