MIDLAND, TEXAS -- A blue-green algae bloom has been detected at Wadley Baron Park, according to the City of Midland Parks and Recreation Department.
Blue-green algae can produce toxins harmful to both humans and animals.
Please take the following precautions:
• Avoid contact with the water in the affected areas, including swimming and wading
• Keep pets away from the water to prevent accidental ingestion or exposure.
• Do not fish in the contaminated water, as the toxins can accumulate in fish tissue.
