SeeClickFix helps lead to record potholes filled

RESIDENTS HAVE NUMEROUS WAYS TO REQUEST POTHOLE MAINTENANCE 

(May 29, 2025)

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- Potholes are being filled at record rates inside the City of Midland.

The city reported at its Midland City Council meeting this week that city staff is on pace to fill more than 20,000 potholes for the second-straight year.

In 2024, 25,637 potholes were filled. Through April of 2025, more than 11,000 have been filled, city officials stated.

Requests to fill potholes come to the City of Midland in a variety of ways, including:

  • Calls to the Pothole Hotline: 432-685-7293
  • Contact from Council district members
  • Info provided by City employees in the field
  • Input from SeeClickFix, the City of Midland’s new and improved tool for citizens to submit service requests and report issues to city staff (www.midlandtexas.gov/1372/SeeClickFix-FAQs).
