MPD OFFICERS MAKE ARREST RELATED TO POSSIBLE HIT-AND-RUN

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- Midland Police officers have made an arrest related to the July 23, 2025, pedestrian fatality in the 3600 block of Thomason Drive.

MPD reported that Luis Angel Corrujedo Flores, 34, of Gardendale was arrested Thursday for the offense of “collision involving death” – a second-degree felony.

Officers had developed enough evidence to track down the possible actor vehicle – a gray Ford F-250 -- following an incident on July 23 when a truck was believed to have struck a 31-year-old woman, Noraima Hernandez.

MPD interviewed then interviewed Flores, the suspect, and he was subsequently arrested.
