‘YES, MIDLAND CAN’ FOOD DRIVE BENEFITS MIDLAND SOUP KITCHEN EFFORTS

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- The Midland Soup Kitchen has partnered with the City of Midland to host a Canned Food Drive Competition – Yes, Midland Can!
The food drive is currently underway and continues through Oct. 3. Donations can be taken to the Midland Soup Kitchen, 1401 Orchard Lane.
Pick your favorite council member or canned item and bring your donations. The council member with the most items earns bragging rights. The selections are:
- Mayor Lori Blong – Canned Veggies
- Brian Stubbs – Ravioli and SpaghettiOs
- John Norman – Dry Pasta
- Amy Stretcher Burkes – Canned Beans
- John Burkholder – Diced Tomatoes/Rotel
- Robin Poole – Canned Chili
- Jack Ladd – Canned Chicken or Tuna
Let’s come together and raise as many canned food items as possible.
