SECURITY MEASURES TO BEGIN AT NEXT COUNCIL MEETING

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- There will be security measures taking place at the next Midland City Council meeting, including security wanding.

The next meeting will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday (March 24, 2026) inside Council Chamber at Midland City Hall, 300 N. Loraine St.

The City recommends that those wanting to attend the meeting please come earlier to take part in security measures. The City of Midland also wants to remind people that a member of the public who wishes to address the Council regarding an item on an agenda or during the public comment period shall complete a Request to Speak form and submit to the City Secretary prior to the open meeting being called to order.

Cards submitted after the start of the meeting will not make it to the mayor but will be filed.

The City encourages residents and others attending the meeting to arrive as early as needed to fill out forms and take part in security measures.
