MIDLAND FIREFIGHTERS RESCUE BABY WHILE FIGHTING BLAZE

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- At approximately 4:36 a.m. Wednesday (Feb. 19, 2025), Midland Fire Department officials responded to a structure fire in the 5100 block of East County Road 71.
A double-wide mobile home was on fire, and homeowners advised firefighters there was a child inside.
“The E4 crew rescued the child – an infant female,” an MFD report stated.
The baby is in critical condition.
