MPD MAKES ARRESTS AFTER SHOTS FIRED IN NORTH MIDLAND

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- Two 18-year-olds were arrested after shots were fired Thursday afternoon behind a business in the 4300 block of West Wadley Avenue.
Midland Police responded to a road rage incident at the Comet Cleaners around 3:20 p.m. on March 6, 2025.
“While en route, the call was upgraded to ‘shots fired’ behind Soft Suds,” MPD reported. “Officers arrived and detained several individuals involved. Two were arrested for attempted tampering with physical evidence. The investigation revealed two shooters, who remain unidentified and at large. One firearm was recovered at the scene.”
Ryan Allen and Stephon Freeman were arrested after the incident.
Vehicle descriptions included a “multi-colored” Ford Explorer and White Toyota Camry. The investigation continues.
