NUMBER OF AIRLINE PASSENGERS IN OCTOBER JUMPS 12.6% SINCE 2023

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- The City of Midland reported a 12.68% increase in passengers compared to October 2023. The 70,553 passengers topped the 62,609 in October 2023 and started fiscal year 2026 in style.
The number of passengers flying Southwest Airlines, American Eagle, United and Delta during the month again topped 70,000, posting a 4.71% increase compared to October 2024. Southwest again led the way with 43.1% of total passengers. American Eagle was second with 25.9%.
In addition to a banner month for passengers, Airport officials showed $795,195 in parking revenues in October, a 5.18% increase compared to October 2024.
The fiscal year for the City of Midland begins in October and continues through the following September.
