FEBRUARY AIRLINE, AIRPORT METRICS STILL INLINE WITH LAST TWO YEARS

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- Airline and airport metrics at Midland International Air & Space Port during the month of February were consistent with the same months in 2024 and 2025.
Airport officials reported that airline passengers leaving Midland topped 50,000 again during the month and the 283,512 passengers that have flown out of Midland this fiscal year is less than 1% behind the passenger level during fiscal year 2023-24.
The last two years were record-setters at Midland International Air & Space Port.
Southwest Airlines again carried the largest share of passengers, with around 43.9% of the total in February. United was second at 32.3%.
City officials also reported that parking revenue at Midland International Air & Space Port increased 1.87% in February (compared to February 2025). The $654,951 in net parking revenue increased the fiscal year-to-date total to $3.546 million, a 0.45% increase compared to the first five months of FY 2025.
