AIRLINE PASSENGERS SET ANOTHER RECORD AT MIDLAND INTERNATIONAL AIR & SPACE PORT

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- More airline passengers flew out of Midland International Air & Space Port in fiscal year 2025 than any other year on record.

Airport officials reported 767,734 passengers during FY 2025. That was a 3.72% increase compared to FY 2024. Airport officials also reported the post-COVID surge continues as FY 2025  was the third-straight year for new record established and four of the top five years have happened since the pandemic ended earlier this decade.

Southwest again led the way for airlines with 45.3% of the passenger load for the fiscal year. United was second with 26.3%, and American Eagle was third at 25.3%.

Fiscal year 2025 also was a banner year for fuel sales (8.469 million gallons, a 3.31% increase) and parking revenues ($8.979 million, an 8.56% increase).

Later this month, the city will break ground on the Midland International Air & Space Port Terminal Expansion Project.
