CITY REPORTS HANDLING MORE THAN 13,000 REQUESTS MADE TO SEECLICKFIX
(Feb. 9, 2026)
MIDLAND, TEXAS -- The City of Midland handled 724 requests in January from residents using SeeClickFix – the City’s tool for residents to submit routine service requests and report issues to City staff.
The most requests (101) came from residents requesting help with “parking violations on public streets or alleys.” Finishing out the top five most requested were requests to fix potholes (74), solid waste concerns (69), animal issues (deceased, stray, barking or injured, 47), pickup of large trash items (37) and litter/debris (36).
SeeClickFix was created as a ‘311 program’ that provides residents with report tracking capabilities and a streamlined process for submitting requests. An example of that responsiveness was that City staff – on average, using the top 10 most requested items -- needed less than one day (0.85 of a day) to respond to a request) and 3.42 days to close out a ticket.
Of those tracked by City Council district, the most came from District 4 (generally west Midland). The 218 tracked to residents in District 4 outpaced the 215 from those in District 3 (generally central Midland). There were 146 reported from both District 1 (north Midland) and 145 from District 2 (south and east Midland).
The City of Midland has responded to more than 13,000 requests since the inception of SeeClickFix in mid-2024.
