Drainage Rates Fee Increase

In 2018, the City of Midland established a Storm Water Utility to enhance the management of stormwater in the area. The utility is funded through a tier-based fee structure, with tiers determined by the size of the property's impervious area (measured in square feet). All customers within the same tier are charged an equal, flat fee.

The updated rates apply to both residential and commercial properties. Some customers may see a prorated amount on their first bill depending on their billing cycle. Please review the flyers below for a full breakdown of the updated fee tiers.
