The Public Safety Communications Division serves as a crucial service and support unit, primarily dedicated to assisting various public safety departments and agencies. Its mission is to consistently provide the highest level of service and support to the employees of the Midland County Sheriff's Office, Midland Fire Department, the Midland Police Department, as well as other related public safety agencies, ultimately benefiting residents of Midland.

24/7, toll-free TDD/TTY, access for emergency 911 and non-emergency calls. You should always call 911 if you can and text 911 ONLY when you cannot. Text-to-911 is beneficial to the Deaf, people with hearing loss or speech disabilities, and those who can't safely call 911.
Continuous two-way radio communication between the center and on-duty personnel.
Record and playback all telephone conversations and radio transmissions, with recordings kept for 365 days.
