Get an Alarm Permit

Ensuring public safety is a collaborative effort between the Midland Police Department and its residents. By registering your home and business alarm systems, you help reduce the strain caused by false alarms and contribute to the overall safety of our community. Proper alarm registration allows us to allocate our resources more efficiently, ensuring timely responses to real emergencies.

City Ordinance Requirement

All homeowners and business owners within the City of Midland are required to register their alarm systems. Responding to false alarms puts unnecessary strain on police resources, diverting officers from true emergencies.

The City of Midland has partnered with PM AM to provide alarm registration and manage false alarms.

Fees

  • Residential Alarm: $20 initial registration, $15 annual renewal.
  • Commercial Alarm: $25 initial registration, $20 annual renewal.
