Police Report
The Midland Police Department is committed to providing quality service around the clock. Citizens can use the online services portal to search for public safety incidents and arrests, obtain copies of crash reports, file a police report, and access other useful information. These new features are intended to provide convenience and greater ease of use.
Report Incident
This app is for reporting non-emergency incidents. Don't use it if there's an injury or if you need an officer to come to the scene. For emergencies or crimes in progress, call 9-1-1. Use this form only for crimes in Midland city limits; for areas outside, contact the relevant agency.
You can report crimes online for these types of offenses:
- Theft (including bike thefts)
- Defacing Property (Graffiti)
- Phone Harassment
- Burglary of Vehicle
- Credit and Debit Card Abuse
- Criminal Mischief (Vandalism)
- Lost Property
- Suspicious Circumstances
- Forgery
- Identity Theft
Don't submit an online report if the incident involves any of the following:
- A traffic crash
- Physical injury to any person
- A threat of imminent danger and/or injury
- An incident in progress or just occurred
- Physical evidence or property will need to be recovered from the scene
- Suspect(s) and/or witness(es) to immediately be interviewed
- Auto theft reports A weapon is involved
- Runaway(s) or missing person(s)
False Reporting
Reporting false or malicious crimes is against the law and will be fully prosecuted. Filing a false police report is a serious offense. Police report information is public record.
