MPD: SWAT HELPS IN ARREST, EVIDENCE COLLECTION

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- On Monday, Feb. 20, 2024, around 8:30 p.m., Midland SWAT was called out to the 4400 block of Lanham Street in reference to an assault.
Midland Police reported that the subject, identified as 56-year-old James Morton, was arrested without incident on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Police also collected the firearm on Monday evening.
