FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: CITY OF MIDLAND PARKS AND RECREATION DIVISION TO HOST PEE WEE BASKETBALL LEAGUE
The City of Midland Parks and Recreation Division to host Pee Wee Basketball League. The Pee Wee Basketball League is designed to teach the fundamentals of basketball to children ages 4-6.
Registration is now open through November 6th and the cost is $35 per child. Registration can be completed in-person at the MLK Community Center (2300 Butternut Lane) or online by visiting at www.midlandtexas.gov/peewee.
The league is limited to the first 60 registrants. Games and practices will be held in the evenings during the week and registration includes five guaranteed games, a t-shirt, digital pictures and an award. Volunteer coaches with a basic knowledge of basketball are still needed.
