The City of Midland Municipal Court will soon participate in a statewide roundup of individuals with outstanding municipal warrants.
The multi-jurisdictional Texas Warrant Roundup will begin on Saturday, March 1 and continue through March 9. Defendants with outstanding arrest warrants for traffic, parking, city ordinance, or state law violations will be targeted by multiple law enforcement entities. More than 250 participating agencies in Texas will concentrate their efforts to clear these outstanding warrants.
In Midland, warrant notices have been mailed to defendants with outstanding warrants notifying them of the warrant. Affected individuals are urged to contact the appropriate jurisdiction to dispose of their cases voluntarily and avoid arrest during the actual roundup.
If anyone is unable to make payments in full, he or she must make a personal appearance at Municipal Court (406 E. Illinois Ave.).
