[ARCHIVED] MPD To Host Kids Academy

The Midland Police Department is now accepting applications from new students for this year’s Kids Academy.

The academy will take place daily from 8 a.m. to noon from June 16-20 at the Midland Police Department (601 N. Loraine). Students new to the class will be considered first for the 25 available spots for participants, and those who have been through the class may apply if there are any open spots remaining. These classes are available for free for children ages 8-12.

Students in the class will learn more about the various divisions of the Midland Police Department and justice system, as well as life skills dealing with bullying and exercise.

Applications can be found on or at the Midland Police Department (601 N. Loraine) and require the signature of a parent or guardian. The form can be returned to MPD or emailed to MPD Community Relations.
