EZ-RIDER USE IN MIDLAND REACHES HIGHEST MONTHLY LEVEL IN 2025

MIDLAND, TEXAS -- EZ-Rider fixed-route ridership decreased in October (compared to October 2024), according to the Midland-Odessa Urban Transit District.
The MOUTD also reported that fixed-route public transportation use in Midland reached its highest level during the 2025 calendar year with 11,317 passengers.
Year over year, ridership in October was down 11.4% compared to October 2024. The MOUTD also reported fixed-route ridership in Midland was up 10.81% compared to Odessa in October.
EZ-Rider is the bus system in both Midland and Odessa. The Midland-Odessa Urban Transit District operates the system. The City of Midland helps fund EZ-Rider operations.
