The City of Midland would like to encourage citizens to vote in the election being held on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Voting centers will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Midlanders are able to vote at any of the polling locations being operated by the Midland County Elections Office, regardless of precinct. Please remember to bring a photo I.D.

So far, 7,325 people have cast their vote through early voting and mailed ballots.

Three positions on the Midland City Council will appear on the ballot: Mayor, District 3, and District 4. The names of candidates for these positions will appear as follows per a ballot drawing held in August:

Those elected will be sworn in to City Council on Monday, Jan. 13, 2014.
