[ARCHIVED] MPD releases updated information in search for vehicle involved in fatal hit-and-run

The Midland Police Department is releasing updated information in the search for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run accident that killed a pedestrian earlier this month.

The accident happened on Oct. 23 at the intersection of Midland Drive and Neely Avenue. Investigators are looking for a dark-colored Jeep Liberty that is possibly green with a year model between 2002-2004. The Jeep is believed to have damage to the front right side of the vehicle. The front right tire fender flare is missing, and the passenger side view mirror is also missing the glass.

Individuals with information regarding this case are asked to call MPD at 432-685-7108.
