[ARCHIVED] Midland teen arrested following MPD narcotics investigation

A Midland man is facing federal charges following a month-long investigation by the Midland Police Department narcotics unit.

Isaac Saenz, 19, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school after MPD detectives executed a search warrant on Friday, Dec. 5. Detectives arrived at a residence in the 2500 block of Haynes Drive, located across the street from Goddard Junior High School, where they found 1.5 pounds of hydroponic marijuana and approximately $24,500 in cash.

Saenz has been transferred into the custody of U.S. Marshals, and is believed at this time to have been a large distributor of marijuana within the community.
