[ARCHIVED] FBI searching for suspect in armed robbery at Midland bank

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has released photos of the suspect wanted for an armed robbery at a Midland bank.

At approximately 4:28 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 6, a suspect entered the Chase bank at 3209 Courtyard Dr. and produced a handgun, demanding money. The suspect fled the scene on foot with an unknown amount of cash.

He is believed to be a Hispanic male in his early 20s standing between 5’2” and 5’8” with a slim build. At the time of the incident he was wearing orange fabric over his face and a pink hoodie, but police believe that the hoodie and orange fabric were discarded in a nearby parking lot. FBI and DPS are assisting in the investigation and search in this case.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call MPD at 432-685-7108 or Midland Crime Stoppers at 432-694-TIPS. All tips will remain anonymous and the investigation continues.
