The City of Midland will host a public meeting this week to discuss the upcoming construction of new water lines and pavement along D Street and Douglas Avenue.
This project will be one of many to break ground in Midland this year as the City continues its plan to update infrastructure and roads.
The public meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27 in the library of Bowie Elementary School located at 805 Elk Avenue.
Maps and drawings describing the proposed construction will be displayed at the meeting and citizens will have a chance to speak directly with the engineers.
