[ARCHIVED] City to host free Easter egg hunt for kids 12 years old and under

The public is invited to participate in a free egg hunt this Easter at the City of Midland Parks and Recreation Division's Easter Egg Eggstravaganza on Thursday, April 2.

The community Easter egg hunt will take place for a second year at the MLK Jr. Park (1415 E. Scharbauer, next to the MLK Jr. Community Center) starting at 5:30 p.m. The event is open to participants 12 years old and under. The hunt will be divided into four age groups: 4 years old and under, 5-7 years old, 8-10 years old and 11-12 years old.

The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with free hot dogs. The Easter egg hunt will take place one age group at a time beginning with the age 4 and under group at 6 p.m.; each group will have its own prize eggs to hunt.
