The City of Midland's Parks & Recreation Division is now accepting registrations from businesses and organizations to participate in its third annual Halloweenfest.
This year's Halloweenfest will take place from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, October 29 at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center (2300 Butternut Lane) to provide a free, safe trick or treat for the community. Local businesses, churches, and organizations are encouraged to sign up to take part in the event by setting up a table and handing out candy or providing a game for the children.
Other family activities at the event will include face painting, movies, jumpers, music and costume Zumba.
At least 500 kids to come through the facility for this event, so participants are asked to bring candy for at least 500 children.
