The Midland Police Department is now accepting registration forms for this year’s National Night Out on Tuesday, Oct. 4.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. MPD officers will be visiting neighborhood block parties to interact with citizens and to provide tips on maintaining safe communities.
Any individual interested in hosting a block party can download a registration form at www.midlandtexas.gov/NNO or contact the MPD Community Relations Division at 432-685-7582 for more information. The deadline to register is Monday, Sept. 28.
