[ARCHIVED] Police Searching for Robbery Suspect

The Midland Police Department is looking for the public's help in finding a suspect in a robbery that took place at Heavenly Nails (3314 W. Illinois Ave.) on Monday morning.

Witnesses told officers that the male suspect entered the store at approximately 10 a.m. with a large bowie knife. The suspect demanded money from the cash register, which an employee provided, and fled the store on foot.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s with a goatee, standing between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-9 inches tall and weighing approximately 175 pounds. He was said to be wearing a dark colored hoodie with a gray shirt and blue jeans.
